What MyMoviePoll does
MyMoviePoll helps people discover, organise, choose and remember movies together. It provides movie information, embedded trailers, personal library entries and social planning tools such as polls. It does not sell, rent, upload, host, download, retransmit or provide access to films or television programmes, and it is not a streaming or file-sharing service.
How it handles information about you is described in the privacy page.
Watch from lawful sources
You are responsible for obtaining the movie you choose from a lawful source and for having any permission required for the way it is shown. Lawful options may include a licensed streaming service, rental or purchase, physical media, a broadcaster or a cinema.
A personal streaming subscription may not permit a public or community screening. If a viewing is outside a private domestic setting, check the rights holder’s permission, the provider’s terms and any licence that may be required.
User submissions and enforcement
You may submit only information that is lawful and that you are entitled to share. This includes profile names, legacy poll guest names, watched-with labels, reviews, nominations and ratings. Do not impersonate another person or include information you do not have a reasonable basis to record. Submissions must not be used to advertise or coordinate unlawful access to copyrighted material. MyMoviePoll may remove or restrict access to content, polls or accounts that breach these rules, respond to valid legal requests, and preserve relevant records where the law requires it. MyMoviePoll is not required to pre-screen every submission.
Reporting content or a rights complaint
To report a poll name or other submission, or to notify MyMoviePoll of material you believe infringes your rights, contact privacy@mymoviepoll.com. Identify the poll or content you are reporting and explain the problem; for a rights complaint, describe the work concerned and your relationship to it. Reports are acted on once there is enough information to locate the content. You do not need a MyMoviePoll account to send one.
Movie data and trailers
Trailers are provided through the embedded YouTube player. YouTube, not MyMoviePoll, provides that audiovisual content, and use of it is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. MyMoviePoll does not grant any right to copy, download or redistribute third-party content.
Important limits
A movie appearing in search results, a poll or a trailer showcase does not confirm that you have the right to access or show the full film. MyMoviePoll does not recommend or verify any source used to watch it. Nothing on MyMoviePoll is legal advice, and these rules do not limit rights or responsibilities imposed by applicable law.
